fire extinguisher removal

Hi Guys,
I need to send my fire extinguisher away for servicing but have forgotten how to seperate the bottle from the pipes. I can't seem to find the instructions...
It's a Lifeline mechanical extinguisher, where the pipes click in to the junction pieces to secure themselves. Is there a way to disconnect without cutting?
Is anyone able to help me?

If it's like mine, there is a plastic collar over the pipe where it pushes into the union. you have to pull the collar away from the union while pulling the pipe out of the union. It will still be stiff but it will come apart eventually.
