List 1B or List 1a Tyres for the Wet

Advice please. I want a set of sticky tyres for a race series but they must come from either of these lists. Note, they are for wet use not in the dry, I ve that bit sorted.

Can anyone recommend from experience ?

I personally use List 1b's in all conditions other than torrential rain with standing water. I then use List 1a's - usually Goodyear F1 Asymetrics.

As Trevor says, R888s and the like are lethal with puddles around. Are you at the GWS Trevor?

A mate of mine is running Advan AD08's on his MX-5. He was saying the other day that they are amazing in the wet.

I've used a048's in torrential rain at sent and I mean monsoon conditions. I found if you wind the pressures up a bit they work pretty well. Each to their own though

I use Toyo R1Rs for my wet sprint tyre. 888s for dry.
