I am looking for a second driver to share a seat with me in the 2012 MSVR Team Trophy or Trackday Trophy. These series are discussed separately in the club racing section. If you have just passed your ARDS test then sharing in TDT is an ideal opportunity to learn the ropes without the time expense of buying and prepping you own car. If you're not a novice then we can share in TT.

Car is a BMW E30 328i, class A TDT and class B TT. In Sunday's TT I was 4th in class B, 10th overall, from a full field of 32 cars. I was leapfrogged in the pits for 2nd place. This is a top 3 car for sure, with multiple podium finishes last year.

If you're interested, please contact Andy at Podium Preparation: andy@podiumprep.co.uk

Andy is currently prepping a Porsche 968, which will be also available to share later in the season.

Racing is such a blast - way more exciting than track days - so come and have some real fun!

Hey, you're right - I didn't see the M3 up there in 4th on GC. I thought the front running B's were all bunched up together in 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th & 12th. Per TSL, car 9 in 3rd place short pitted by 8 secs, which is normally a drive through penalty. Do you know what they got? I was in front of them at the pit change, and on top of their 8, gave them 14 stupid secs (don't ask!), finishing 4 behind you, and 8 behind them.

Anyhow, gist of my thread that the E30's a great car to drive and it would be fun to share the seat with someone in 2012!

How did lone driver car 75 get away with a 1:34 pit stop?

Yes, nothing.

Seems TSL didn't tell race control about short pitstops. MSV are asking why it didn't happen.

Our car (Mini 9) had a transponder problem on both days. Certain laps were not recorded, including the pit in laps. Fully verified by the timekeepers after Saturday's race, hence why we were upgraded from 11th place to 3rd

Well done guys in number 9 - yes, you were definitely in front of me. Timing hickups are very rare, and in any case, my own terrible pit stop accounted for the time loss, so I've no axe to grind with anyone. In fact, it was a very enjoyable race - nose to tail tussling the entire hour. I can't wait for Donington double-header next month. No wasting time at my pit stops there http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/imgs/11.gif
