If its a yank Cougar and not one of those front wheel drive european things have a word with Bernie and ask if you can line it up with the race cars.

First 10 minutes of the 40 minute race with Cliff at the helm who IMHO did very well as he had never even sat in the car before qually and the conditions and car set up were not good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPnXCB_itm0

Yeah it is a quick car that Mike Haig has built, still has a few little set up issues with it that we should have sorted by Brands.
Can't wait for Brands Indy, one of my favourite tracks, took pole there 2 years ago in the Duratec Formula Ford Festival (by 3 tenths) 2 podiums and 2 fastest laps. biggrin

Not sure I will do Brands, yellow car's sump bottoms out there and the black car doesn't have the range for a 40 minute race and me co-driver will be in the States racing his Mustang.

I love your series guys. I had literally just landed from LA after two weeks off for easter, where I spent the last day at the Long Beach IndyCar GP circuit. Waking up on Saturday in Snetterton surrounded by good old american V8's was like a dream. Thought I was seeing things.

Used a modern recreation of the Dodge Challenger as my car in the states and really loved it. I know it's not the real thing but I couldn't get a classic. Used a 79 Firebird Transam on my last trip :-)

Although I don't race an American V8, it is a V8 all the same, so here is my footage from the same day at Snetteton. Speeds are well down on you guys, but still had fun.

Hope you enjoy.

Cheers,
Tris

Nice one Tris, glad you enjoyed the day, that looked a fraught first lap in that expensive machinery!

It was quite an exciting lap and then a good battle with the Club Chairman kept me busy till the end.

Looked at your video. The Camero sounds great. Checked the paperwork and you're running a similar pace to my 308GT4, but I can tell that you have to be careful on how you use that power. Would be interesting to see them on the track at the same time. Will have to look into that.
