car with tow bar

Is there anybody out there prepared to allow me to borrow their tow vehicle. Monies will be paid.
My company car does not have a tow bar and I am not allowed to fit one,so I need something in the interim to use for a race meeting in July and Sept at Lydden.

I have tried the local hire companies, and looked at buying something 2nd hand but its a no goer on both fronts for various reasons

I will insure it, collect it, and leave my car as security.

Ideally Oxford/TV area

Have you tried any van hire companies? Hired vans sometimes come with tow bars.

I used to do this when I had a Hillman Imp as every day transport - unsuprisingly one 39bhp Imp won't tow another on a trailer. Was 20 years ago but the van hire place in Bristol that I used had a few with towbars, I did have to ask for one specifically when booking though.

Yep, Van hire place should have something with a hitch. That is what I did before fitting one to the car.

I've got a lovely Merc E280 estate you can borrow. Only £150 per weekend for 6 weekends hire, and the best bit is that at the end of the hire period you get to keep it!

(oh and you'll have to fit a tow bar too)

try northgate vehicle hire i got vans from them for about 3 years until i brought my own
