I'm looking to apply for my first car racing licence and wondered if you can simply get the 'novice application form' without having to buy the whole starter pack.

I raced for many years in karts and partly run a race team so I know what I need to know to pass my ARDS, I also already have a competitors year book and can watch the dvd if needed.

Can anyone help?

The forms are downloadable from the web and the Blue Book in online as a set of PDFs. Can't think of any reason why you specifically need the Go Racing pack.

The Blue Book is your friend.

Exemptions to 8.2.1 "must obtain a novice race driver "Go Racing Driver Pack" include:

"H.8.2.5 Anyone who is entitled to an International 'A' or 'B' Kart licence and who passes a written examination."

The Blue Book is available on line at:
The whole MSA site is offline at present

Suggest you give them a ring in working hours: 01753 765000

Don't listen to the advice of those that don't know! The form is only available when you purchase the "Go Racing Pack", it is not available online!! The only forms available online are those for renewing an existing licence!! HTH

Have you even looked at the page I linked to? What about the section that says:

2013 First Time Application (Online)
Only use this option if you have NEVER held an MSA licence before
to make a first time licence application.

There's also a link to a PDF of the same form that goes out with the Go Racing pack.

Have YOU even looked at the page you linked to??? What about following it through to the point it tells you it is for a non race licence!!!!!

So read what it says, and then explain to the OP that you have to buy the "Go Racing Pack" as I stated in the first place!!!!
