Classic Marques - Rounds 4 & 5 - Anglesey
Discussion
After our brilliant weekend at Gurston, Classic Marques is next off to Anglesey for the double header weekend of 4th / 5th May for Rounds 4 and 5.
A list of the eligible Classic Marques entrants to the event can be found here: http://media.wix.com/ugd//fd72d2_b67f54dc417752d72...
I should just mention that there are lots of other cars at the event too!
Anglesey is a wonderful facility so if you're up that way, please do swing by if you're looking for something interesting (and car related) to do with your 4th / 5th May weekend.
Cheers

Ty-Croes (Anglesey) was brilliant - even though Anglesey is the windiest place on Earth! We had 25 cars in the 3-way shootout between the MGs, Scimitars and the TVRs which, gave us incredibly close results on both days.
The very quick Trevor Shortt (Scimitar) lifted the winner's trophy on Saturday just pipping Mat Oakley's 6.2L purple Chevy powered TVR Griffith by just 0.40 of a handicap second. The very talented James Thacker (MG) won on Sunday in a well sorted MG Midget - his 0.77 sec margin was good enough to keep the winner's award out of the hands of Oakley (6.2L Griff) and Shortt. Trevor Shortt's 2nd place on Sunday was a great achievement as his Scimitar suffered a water-pump failure limiting him to just one timed run.
Full results and new NOTIONAL leaderboard can be found here: http://media.wix.com/ugd//fd72d2_73bc0e89095e18942...
Classic Marques next rounds are at Wiscombe on 18/19 May, please come and support if you're passing.

Do you ever come up closer to the midlands? Will quite possibly get to one of these this year.
Certainly do - take a look at the Dates page on the website: http://www.classic-marques-speed-challenge.com/#!d...We have a double header at Loton Park on 10/11 August, plus rounds at Blyton Park and Curborough that might be of interest too.
