Formula Ford 1600 Engine - Fuel Pump Question

I have just acquired an old Clubmans racing car fitted with a Scholar Formula Ford 1600 engine . It is missing a fuel pump so I need to know what type of pump is necessary to run one of these engines . Can I get away with a standard mechanical pump or do I need an electric pump , if so what type is best suited . Will I need a fuel pressure regulator .

I don't know the rules for clubmans cars, but FF need to run with a stock mechanical pump. No need for a regulator on those.
