The car is to be compliant with MSA rules for UK and European classic/historic GT but not FIA kind of race series.

Ours has some harness cable-tied to the door bars, we've never been pulled for it. So I assume its okay.

I don't recall any mention of this in the blue book, and its a fairly common thing to do - so should be ok.

I've got some wiring cable tied to my cage and I've never been pulled up over it.

Cable for the IR sensor for the lap timer for a start, then many would have cameras etc. etc. I bet most guys have their lap timer sensor wiring cable tied to the cage.

Very very common, never heard of it being a problem before.

I'd have no objection as a National Scrutineer

Irrespective of side, or passenger side only?

I don't think my lap timer would be particularly effective if the IR sensor was pointing out the left side of the vehicle.

Depends which side the circuit beacon is on, surely?

I think it would work quite well at Rockingham.
