Hey chaps

Who's racing this weekend ? Who's coming to watch ?
Should be some good on track action, Porsches, TVR's and the mini's have a night race !

Pussy Natural Energy Drinks are giving away free tickets with VIP parking and suite access in a simple FB competition https://www.facebook.com/Pussy

Both the Mighty & Super Mighty Minis Championships are regular cliff-hangers with one driver jubilant and the other dejected. The Toyo Tires Porsche Championship, Formula Jedi, the Arrowpak Euro Saloons, the Advantage Motorsport Ford XR Challenge and the Teekay Couplings Production GTi championships will all have their last rounds at Donington so there will be plenty of adventurous overtaking manoeuvres as drivers battle all the way to the line.

I'm racing Sunday in the Track Attack Autumn Series, be there from Friday night so we can watch the Saturday races.
(Anyone seen a Paddock Plan yet ? BRSCC are normally quite quick with them)

Excellent - we're in the Porsches #98

Normally quicker than they have been - I know the minis and the Porsches have the garages. Everyone else is in the paddock. First come, first serve wink

Think I'll give it a go. MR2 car 5 in the Trackattack series on Sunday but will get there as early as possible on Saturday to cheer the rest on.

Not too concerned about weather as we're a bit limited on the donkeys with the MR2s so some precipitation would be a good leveller in our races.

I'll be there all weekend somewhere around the circuit marshalling. Looking forward to this, the timetable looks good with plenty of close races. The Minis where great entertainment last year.

A few people out testing at Donington today in preparation for the weekend. Have noticed one Boxster clocking up quite few miles in the last few weeks.

I hope I don't get to meet any of you drivers out on the circuit (meant in the nicest possible way I'm sure the feeling is mutual smile ) but always happy to have a chat in the paddock.

wavey

Stay safe and have a great weekend.

I'm not sure really.....I have only had two races there, 2 years ago, but those were on the big circuit and I was driving a 2.9L V6 TVR Tasmin. Never done the National in a Tuscan, Should be interesting smile

Qualifying looked a bit slippery but hopefully dry for the races this afternoon.

Have fun guys and don't forget to give the marshals a wave on your slowing down lap especially post 4 exit of Redgate wavey

Shame your qualifying got cut short but good effort in the race including a rather quick spin at Redgate. Love the sound of the Noble.

Was a nicely caught spin. Enjoyed the flames coming out at lift off

Lots of good racing, mini's in the dark was good. Not sure how much they could see, but they looked to be going for it. Took my daughter who is mini mad. Her face when she saw they had lit up their numbers was ear to ear smiles.

Thanks guys,

Don't suppose anyone caught the spin on film? It was quite surreal , I couldn't believe I caught it and stayed ahead of the Marcos! smile

The exhaust on the Noble is 105db and getting worse as the cats have holes burnt through them, new system going on over winter, will be very quiet for next year sadly.
