Hi all.

Looking to change the colour of my helmet but don't want to spend £500 at the moment - is there a cheaper option (other than DIY?) or do I have to just wait?

Ta.

Contact Tony at lidzart.com

He gave me a very very competitive price when I was looking. Fellow Lotus enthusiast also.

His prices are fair and he did a fantastic job.

You'll struggle with some scruts if you wrap your lid. They tend to think you're hiding damage.

Not sure how you'd avoid the padding getting wet but maybe this could be of use? http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

He is very good. Anywhere from 175-300+ depending on design. Mine was high detail and cost me 300. I did alot of research and this guy came out well on bang for your buck. Also was quick and easy to deal with, even hurrying it along for me and meeting me en route for a race so i could have it earlier.

+1 for Jims Factory.

Much more cost effective than most and did a great job on my lid. Think it was £250 for a matt effect, with quite a bit of detail here and there which would have cost well over £500 elsewhere.
