Quite the look and cost of these :

But can't see them on the MSA list 1a/b.
They're road legal etc is this is a problem if they're not on MSA list ?

I ran FZ201 on a Mitsubishi Mirage (800Kg dry) in 2012 and struggled all season to get them warm on the green flag lap, the importers only had one compound which was medium, but that was harder than R888 GG which I had run before.
I would qualify well and then get mugged for a couple of laps to fight back to where I was originally.
2013 I ran a Pulsar GTiR and they were great with the heavier car, came on quickly and really suited it.

I recent mailshot from the dealer looks like they now have a softer option and the prices have come down.

I think the MX5 Mk3 racers (MX5 Super Cup) use the Federals.

We use Federal 595 RSR's in the MX5 Supercup

Not recommended for ultimate pace.

I think MAX5 use the Nankang.
