I need to adjust the race seat for my wife for a trackday followed by racing.

My options are:

1. Make up a seat using a bag of foam. I have never done this before but have the foam from Demon Tweaks. There are a couple of safety queries on foam seats in the 750MC so I'm a little unsure.

2. Fit existing fibreglass seat with support behind. I'm wondering if packing with (secure) polystyrene would be good enough as it only needs to provide "crush" protection in the event of a rear impact.

I'm tending towards option 2 as the seat has already been used in competition so we know it scrutineers OK. Obviously in either case a six point harness will be used.

Thanks

Some foam rubber and a cushion should be sufficient.

My friend made an insert, and then covered it using an old race suit.

3. A HANS seat insert for the current race seat.
