Un-modified Road going class Hillclimb-Battery relocation?

I'm running a puma in road going un-modified class and have a race battery which i'd like to relocated in side the car to move a bit of weight back.

Its not mentioned in the blue book but can i do it? Assuming i put it in a box.

For "Roadgoing Series Production Cars", as defined in the Blue Book, it would be legal. If running in a "standard" class where modifications are strictly controlled, then it's a "no". Would it really make much difference in any case?
