doesnt the insurance in Uk pay if a car has been stolen?

Insurance in the UK usually screw genuine claimants and treat them like criminals....assuming a race only vehicle/trailer even has such insurance.

Conversely and disgustingly...false claimants usually get money thrown at them

In much the same way the law should deal with thieves appropriately....except they rarely do.

Facebook is always a good medium for sharing stolen goods, as it really does present itself to a huge audience once guys get sharing.

Yes, but suspect this is not road registered and as such may not be insured.

My, you do have a jaundiced view on life! If it's not the MSA ripping you off over harnesses it's insurance companies!!
