I last raced in September 2016.
I didn't race at all in 2017 and won't be racing this year but should be returning in 2019.

I previously had a National A license (which was eligible to be upgraded for the 2017 season had I have renewed).

Will I have to retake any tests to get my license again?

You'll have no problem.

I've just renewed my National A and I last raced in 2014.

Yep, generally so long as you have at least one signature you can renew with long gaps. The actual rule is five years but with a bit of persuasion I've known people get round that too, sometimes just needing to re-take the theory test.

Just going through process.

You have five years to renew.

I am just renewing to reset the clock...can't see myself getting out this year...and next year is questionable!

You just need to retake the theory part which costs around 50 quid so it could be slightly more cost effective to skip renewal (if you ignore time and expense of travelling to the test centre)
