Racing Abroad

I am thinking of racing outside of the Uk next year. Possibly in the EU or US/Canada.

If EU (most likely France or Belgium) i’d really like to race my own car, is a club championship , US I’d need to hire one. There are plenty of cars to hire on some of the Facebook motorsport groups.

Has anyone done either of these things and can give me a few pointers or things I need to think about.

For a variety of reasons I am not keen on racing C1 or similar at Spa. I am looking for a sprint race option ideally.
