After my spectacular no-show at Gurston last week I'm hoping to get up to Prescott this week as the HSA is running and I'd like to meet some of the people in A2.1 for some advice for my Mx5.

As soon as I find an entry list I'll post it in here.

Not sure there is an online entry list. I received a hard copy one with the final instructions earlier in the week.

There are two MX5 in the main B1 class and one in the HSA B License Goup so you should find someone to talk to. Feel free to say hello I am in Car 84. It's generally the only estate (if you don't count the Scimitar) so easy to find.

Sorry I wasn't about much. I spent a large proportion of the meeting fixing a friends Caterham's clutch cable after he broke it during a bit of unscheduled off-roading at semi-circle. Not a bad meet though for a first time. 4th in class and the times still coming down with each run.

Fortunately not. My pockets don't run to that kind of weaponry. I was in the B license group so a mix of stuff. A Clan Crusader, Celica GT4, a brace of 205's in various states of modification, Lotus 7, a Fiesta, VW Spider, oh and a Quattro. The championship class is different again and I was up against the 200SX which thoroughly anihilated me!

Lots of the HSA guys are A license holders so run in the main classes at the A events. I reckon there were aroud thrity or more of us a Prescott. It is an interesting championship and a very friendly club. There is a competitors list on the HSA web site as well as an event schedule if you are interested.

I was there too and here's a short vid my lad put together. He filmed each of practice and timed runs and edited them together to make one complete run. Not very quick compared to the fast boys but still enjoyed the weekend. Roll on Gurston.
