Mamhead Hillclimb 2/3rd August

Mamhead Hillclimb is on 2/3rd August open to all (except single seaters) A short but technical Hillclimb certainly a challenge to all, fantastic venue with views across the Exe estuary.
Still no spectators but for drivers and support folk a good weekend.

Balls, would love to come and watch being from Kenton (about 2 miles away). Any idea why no speccy's are allowed?

ETA, just remembered I'm on holiday anyway so couldn't come and watch anyway!

Guess it's that the track AKA drive exits almost onto the public road and there is only a couple of places that you could watch a small part of the track safely.
Perhaps next year an alternative entrance for the public may be found.

It's also a new venue and I suspect that the MSA restrict licences for the first meetings (but that may only apply to race circuits).

It's the sort of event / venue that really makes a life in Devon seem very attractive.
