Fan Upgrades

Hi,

Are Pacet Profans still the fan upgrade of choice ?

One of the factory fans on my Sport have packed up (again) and it has a tendency to struggle when hot, so I figure a few extra CFM wouldn't do amiss....

Many for any alternative suggestions...

I put two 11" Pacet Pro Fans on mine. If you read up of them, they flow twice as much as other units. My TVR used to cook in the que for Le Mans, so it's worth doing IMHO.

Am I right you have to lose the wire grille to fit Pros?

Not entirely. The grill will fit over them but tends to rub. Ultimately it's something else to restrict airflow with it in place.

Yes I had to remove mine. It was not a question of rub, the grill had to come out. Also grill is very flow restrictive!
