.....well, my old one must be...

Since I sold it a year ago, I keep seeing it advertised at higher and higher prices.

It must be those bespoke cam covers that I did.... wink

Looks great..

Do you miss it?

PS - Got Haimsy in my race car earlier this year. Reckon I'll turn him to the dark side of motorsport after he's had enough of this crazy thing he's building.

Hi P,

Sometimes I miss it, but I like tinkering, so I bought a Westfield a couple of months ago and I am getting back into hillclimbs in a moderate way - it's not road legal - I plan to re-build it over the winter. 2-litre Vauxall motor about 255 hp, but I am hoping to up that for next season - not quite like an LS7 though !

I heard Haimsy had something on the go - looking forward to seeing it !

Regards

Good for you. Might meet up at one of his first outings next year then?

I notice MJPmarks is back up through a dealer now as well.

The headline is "cost over £100k", probably a touchy subject and I've brought this up before, but how?

edit to add - not criticising the car, each to their own etc, I just know how much it costs to put an LS7 engined car together, with custom interior, bodywork, wheels, brakes etc.

possibly due to a few things on the car being done more than once/changed maybe ??
or a lot of work being done by a third party hence labour charges pushing the costs up? just guessing really.

I looked at that car when I was buying.
He spent £10k on the wheels alone (had a guy from Japan come and measure up apparently)
Then three different interior trims.
So the bills soon add up.

just noticed tonight... a little odd that the same car is advertised by 2 different garages at the same time on ebay with a 5k difference in price!
That really cant be helping the sale.
