sidepod front seal panels

Question for those of you that have fitted the side pod front seal panels. On a left hand drive car when you fitted the passenger side panel did you run into issues with the rad pipe being in the way? Do you have any pictures of your panel mounted?

My rad pipe was in the way and I had to cut a huge long hole in the panel and then make a fiberglass tunnel to make it fit. If it where just a little in the way I would have just assumed my rad pipe was fitted differently. I got the panel to fit so it's not an problem I was just curious if other had the same issue.

You just hack out until it fits then fill everything with PU sealer.

That's what if figured but the slot for the rad pipe runs about 3/4 the length of the panel.

The pipe enters the end of the panel. It sounds like you are trying to place the panel to far in.
The pipe should run just clear of the chassis tubes. No more than 3 or 4 mm.

looks like I cut the bottom slot for the frame rail to deep so the whole panel moved in about 1 inch, that explains why my rad pipe sticks out. I looked at the build manual earlier that day before I started on them, guess I should given it a second look before I started cutting.

I would go with what you have. Finish the join between cover and pipe with a nice smooth fillet of sealer. How many people who look at your finish car will know the difference.
