Gauging interest in carbon side intake pods

I finally got around to almost finishing the passenger side intake pod I have working on. This one is made out of blue/black carbon/Kevlar.
Just wanted to see if people would be interested in buying them if I was to make a mold and reproduce them. Reproductions could be made in fiberglass, carbon, or any carbon/Kevlar mix. I still need to make the mirror opposite pod that will go on the driver’s side. Cost will depend on how many people are interested and whether or not I make the molds and copies or sub out the work.

I might be interested also. How do these attach to the body? Can we see pics of the mounting side? Is there any evidence these improve flow into the side grills? Can you make these in GRP? I think I would paint silver with the rest of the body.
Can one reach a hand into the opening when mounted - might need to get junk out occasionally?

Not sure on the mounting yet, rivets from the outside would work but I am not sure that would look very nice. May be the only option if you already installed the side screens. There is a lip on the inside of the scoop that follows the curve of the body so it may be possible to rivet the inside lip of the pod to the body.
Here is a picture of the pod in the very begining. You can see the lip I am talking about.
Once my car is running I can try and do some tests to see if they help pull in more air.
Before I start quoting prices let me see if I can make the mirror opposite pod. I have never attempted to make a mirror opposite of something so we will see how it goes.

It's definitely doable. Here is a picture of my factory lip covered in blue/black carbon. FedEx was nice enough to break it in half when shipping it over so wrapping it in carbon was my way of fixing it. Cost would really depend on what you wanted the core made out of. I could use the factory lip has a template or someone could send me a different template.
The factory did warn me when I told them I would be wrapping the lip in carbon that they made the lip out of wood so it would break in the event you hit something and help minimize damage to the front end.

Fixing of side intakes: we glued them (I think the glue is called Sikaflex, but am not sure). It holds really well, despite the huge air pressure at high speeds (I tested it already on the highway at speed >160 mph). It is also no problem to take it out again, which we did already twice to work on the coolers behind. I post a photo also from the inside.
To the front splitter: my specialist used some kind of foam stuff for the inside and covered the outside with carbon. The bottom of the splitter is completely covered by a thin metal sheet which really pays when it hits the road. So far it works very well, whereas I destroyed last year three factory type wooden splitters which splitter very easily.

Word of warning about doing a Mirror of that Lovly side scoop. The LH and RH holes are not mirrors of each other. You will have to do the same process for the other side and make it from scratch, they are different. If the body was made by Computor then yes they would be perfect oposites, but it was a hand made Puck and Mould, so they are different. Reveire found this out when they made theres, just ask Andy Can-Am.

thanks for the tip. May make the mirror to start and then modify it.

I don't recall what reverie's cost but I do remember I started making my own because theirs where very expensive. I would hope mine would be less than 1/2 of theirs.
