Since a few weeks I am encountering a problem with one of my fuel senders. It seems to be stuck at empty showing 0% no matter how much fuel I have in the tank.
I have been hitting it already to see if it is only stuck but maybe simply broken. Anybody had a similar problem ?

Check the wiring first.

It is a simple float on a wire in a tube. Whip it out of the tank and see if it moves freely up and down the wire.

ok squeezed out the sender only to learn that it has no problem. Found the gizmo, it was a resistance in a connector that is interfacing my dash to
the loom........aaaargh. So very little connection resistances can already confuse the reading of the fuel sender. Check your cabling first !
