It most certainly can be done (as I did on the Can-Am) but what I found was that different sets of stalks have different wiring. I had three sets of Escort stalks which looked identical, yet they were wired differently internally! That's whay I didn't document it in my build diary as I thought it would be a bit misleading.
That said, I believe there are some wiring details floating about that will give you a start point? Just need patience and a multimeter to figure out

can anyone give me a drawing or even a clue how to wire up mk4 escort stalks into the ultima loom, gladly pay someone to do this or give me a name/number of an electrician that can do the job. Seen ultimas with these stalks so it can be done please help ,,cheers mark..
