I have a few items that need to be attended to before final body fit...

1) Air Con wiring - I know what my wiring diagram shows AND the pictures on the build CD, but somebody do a sanity check for me please... Do the small (18 GA) wires - grey/red and green - from the loom really power the blower motor??? The wiring from the switch are monsters, and I can't imagine those little wires power the thing... Am I missing something completely??? (I understand the connections as follows: The plug with yellow, red, orange, green of course plugs into the 3 speed fan switch. The green flyer from the plug connects to the thermo switch. From the loom, the red/gray connects to the thermo switch, and the green from the loom connects to the thermo switch ground) does that sound right?

Related curiosity question, There is a wire set in the loom marked "heater fan" and a set in the switchgear area marked "heater switch". It would stand to reason these are not used with the air con option, but is there a rocker switch for the heater fan on the dash for the non-air con option?

2) I am a little confused about the order of washer and rubber spacers on the headlight assy. (The topmost with the two assy's on one housing). The center hole appears to be designed to fit over the stud and the threaded insert for the stud. The build show two rubber spacers and a fender washer. The question is, what is the order of the spacers and washer, and on what side of the mounting plate. I would also assume a nut would be added to allow adjustment up/down on that assy, but I can't see that from the CD. Would that interfere with the headlight cover attachment on the stud?

Thanks for the help!

The wiring specs are messed up. Do a search it's been addressed here before somewhere. Need to add another relay or something.

Jeff, I did read the post you are referring to last night. It mentions the need for a relay due to the ignition switch heating up. Others claim to have had no issue with the ignition switch. I am not opposed to installing the relay, but would like to know how it is supposed to be wired and if my understanding of it is correct.

Thanks!

I've check those wires while the AC is running and they are blazing hot as well, in addition to the ign switch. Call Ted, he claims to have made some harness revisions.
