Hi All,

My Ultima Sports is missing a front repeater cover (pics below). Do you know what car are these from, Mini or Land Rover perhaps? I'm looking to fit orange colour ones, i.e. remove the remaining clear colour one from the car. These are available from Ultima Sports but I thought I'd save a little by going scrapyard if possible.

Thanks for any pointers.

Alex

Hi Alez I believe they are landrover and the perspex/plastic lense does slip into the rubber backing you can get these items from CBS or indeed a scrapyard and you can get the bulbs with a silver coating over the amber that look good behind the clear lense.

Thanks, Rusell! I've had a look on CBS and couldn't find the original lense (apparently these were manufactured by Wipac) but I've been adviced to upgrade to a slightly better quality one which apparently is a straight replacement and better reliability:

Ultima Sports were asking GBP 18 + VAT for ONE lens so that's a much better deal.

Cheers,

Alex

I changed mine a while back. Land rover parts about £6 each plus clear or orange just put in a led or coloured bulb. Also look up mini parts where you can get a chrome cover if you want to finish it off niclely.

Thanks for the information above.

Actually, the price of gbp 36 is for a pair as stated on a description below on the web page I posted the link for.

Also I may have found the original Wipac part at gbp 6.99 per complete unit:

I still have to confirm wether this is the correct part to fit my bodywork, though.

Regards,

Alex

So it looks like I now have a plan A (Wipac from my Ebay link if correct size) and a plan B (Lucas pair from Ultima Sports since better deal than my Ebay link).

Many thanks indeed.
