The release on my passenger door seems to have gone slack. is there anyway of tightening the wire between the lever and the door lock/latch .
Any guidance appreciated.
Cheers
Steve
I modified my door release by taking the door latches out and fitting a cable adjuster from a cycle shop to effectively adjust the length of the bowden outer cable (much the same as adjusting the brakes on a push bike) thus taking up any slack.Any guidance appreciated.

I did this for the actuating solenoids too.
Hi Steve
YES! The system works by looping though the catch and then there is a electrical connector type barrel with two screws to lock the end of the looped cable to the cable again. Simply loosen off the two screws and slide along until you have the tension that you need.
You should be able to run your hand along the cable until you feel this electrical barrel type thingy, and if you contort well you should also be able to see it.
