Hi All

I have gone for slightly smaller than standard diameter exhaust tubes which means I need a smaller finisher trim for the rear grill.

I have a set of 5" ID rings but they are way too big.

I need a set of 4" ID rings preferably black anodised.

Anybody know of a supplier?

Make them yourself...they are only cut from sheet ali then anodised and dyed black.

OK Steve.
I have ordered some aluminum so will "knock some up" later next week.

I hope to have the car finished by the end of this month and the list of jobs still to do is quite long, and it would have been nice to 'just fit' some of these.

Don't be tempted to make them too close a fit around the pipes. The pipes never stay in the same place. I'm sure many other owners will be familiar with sticking a broom stick in the pipe to 'tweek' them back into alignment.
Second don't have the pipe sticking too far through the grill. When you open the rear clip it will catch on the pipe and damage the grill. This is particularly when the car is hot as the system grows by about 15mm.

I wouldnt bother at all..

If the car is painted Silver like mine, the rear looks so much better with no grill at all and all the gearbox expossed..

If you go without the grill mister IVA inspector will go inside looking for sharp edges.

This looked fab. Unfortunately I have had to change it. Still no grill though.
