Hi.

I have a starter motor problem which probably needs replacing, so have removed this from the car. I can’t find a part number on it, but there is a website however the middle part of the website has rubbed away.

What I can see is a logo “Power” in red and the website www.power?????units.co.uk. There may be anything from 4 to 6 letters in the ??? bit.

Can anyone tell me the full web address or company name please?

Thanks

Andy

Andy, if you have a SBC with a Getrag box, then I have a starter in the garage used for about two years.

Thanks Graham, but it's an LS7 with G64/51. Cheers. Andy

I just hopped under mine to take a look - I can't see an actual model number with it fitted - just the name and web address... see pic

Sorry I can't be of more help. I'm sure the factory will be happy to advise of the model number if you call them.

Thanks Paul, I'm 99% sure it's one like this, so I've just dropped the factory an email to see if they can help out. Cheers. Andy

Hi Andy

What's the problem with the starter? I have the part number for yours at home. Andy Burrows will have it as he supplied it. The front mounting plate will need to be swapped from the old one to the new one. The plate I'm talking about is the mating face of the starter motor itself. I turned yours on my lathe to improve the meshing. Drop me a line if you need to know more.
