Single seater and IVA??!
Discussion
why not get an old office chair on wheels and bolt a seat belt to it, put it in the car when you want to use it and take it out when you dont.... that what the indian family did with their Toyota van that I bought from them locally.. they even took the office chair out when I bought it to use in another vehicle...
should be 100% IVA shouldnt it?

Har-har! V funny!
What I was getting at was if IVA required both seats in place for the IVA.
My intention was just to have the one, but then after IVA add the other!
DONT ask!
I could I suppose just add the passenger seat, leave the driver seat out, trailor it up for IVA and watch all the head-scratching when they get to start work on it!

I wouldnt have thought that you HAVE to have 2 seats for the IVA, as already stated they would just test it as a single seater.
BUT are you contravening anything if you put the second seat in after. ie would it be categorised any different to a normal Ult wiv toooo seats?if you have declared that it has 2 seats and one is missing the car could be deemed incomplete. i tried it with the side windows, asked if i did not fit them if it would pass as at that time could not get correct markings, was told it would fail before it started as there were window frames with nothing in - hence incomplete.
hope this helps.
