measurements on getrag adapter

Hi all,
I'm currently busy with positioning engine within the spaceframe,
to fabricate the engine mounts.
Therefore i have to find out, how far back in a standard setup a SBC or a LS engine is mounted (e.g. it ends where the rear upper wishbone is mounted or something like that...???), and how deep the Getrag-Tansaxle-Adapter is.
It would help, if someone could please take measurements on his install and post them.
Perhaps a closeup picture of that area would also help.

In an install you need to get the engine as far forward as possible even then the drive shafts will still angle forwards.
If I'm reading your post correctly you don't have the adaptor yet in which case I would doubt you can design your engine mounts yet. The final position will be a combination of engine and gearbox mounts as you are constrained in height on both the engine and 'box.
