Has anyone got some pearls of wisdom - or better still - a diag of the best routing of the breathers, especially when linked to an oil catch-tank?

I notice that one of the breathers actually links in behind the Plenum and air-flow sensor so presumably this needs to be a closed circuit and not vented to the catch-tank?

What have others done?

just close this opening since all air that comes in there will not be part of your map !
Typically this is too prevent that oil is messing up your MAF sensor.

There are two exits behind the sensor and throttle blade body - one I have blanked off which was the charcoal canister thingy, the other is a breather pipe which routes top the front of the engine to another port...

Blank all entries to your inlet manifold.

Link all the oil breathers together (probably need to step up hose size close to catch tank. Simples!

Agreed, just make sure you position your catch tank somewhere sensible so you don't end up with the oil syphoning into it.

My tank is mounted on the bulkhead as high as I can get it so oil more likely to drain back down the breather pipes.

I think that the catch tank is also connected to the top of the Oil tank also.

It is. That is why you need to increase the hose dia when you connect the 3 engine breather pipes, as you only have 2 inlets (normally) into the catch tank.
