Has anyone got any tips for feeding the wiring loom through the luggage container?

I have 38mm holes as advised by factory, but am stuck with half the loom fed through with more connectors left which now won't fit through the hole.

I've had a couple of attempts of changing the order of feeding the connectors through but have got stuck each time.

I could make the holes a bit bigger but wondered if there are any magic tips?

I am worried forcing it will snap off a connector.

Its an American Speed loom.

I don't know where you're fitting your ECU, but will describe how I ran my loom, with the ECU in the driver's side luggage pod.....

1. In both ends of the luggage pod, I drilled 68mm holes (there are a lot of wires that need feed to the front of the car too).
2. From a piece of ally plate I cut two 100mmx100mm squares and in the middle of each cut 68mm holes.
3. From a sheet of 3mm insersion rubber, I cut two 100mmx100mm squares and cut 38mm holes in the centre of each.
4. To the outside of each end of the luggage pod, I applied one insersion rubber square, then an ally backing plate making a sandwich
5. Each assembly was riveted in place making a stretchy gasket that allows bigger connectors to pass thru', but then the hole to self seal around the wiring loom.

Does that make sense? Here's a pic of the ECU in place, with the gasket in the background...

Copied Marks design, and with a couple of slits in the rubber I too was able to carefully feed through my LS3 loom ( from AB )

Brilliant - that makes a lot of sense. I will implement as per your plans tomorrow.

First I have to get it back out through the 38mm hole!
