Early Ultima car needed for Donington show

Hi there,

We're running the National Kit and Performance Car Show at Donington in September and we have a special display inside the hall called Kit Car Heritage. This will feature groundbreaking cars from the scene's history... Lotus 7, Ginetta, Nova, Marcos and many more. Each car will have an accompanying information board and the display should look fab. We had got a very tidy Mk1 Ultima earmarked for the display, but this has recently been sold to Germany! So... does anyone own or know of either a Mk1 (Lee Noble) Ultima that is in a tidy and original condition (rare, I know!), or a first generation Ultima Spyder (ideally without the big rear wing). Finally, an original Shapecraft Ultima might also fit the bill. The car would need to be on the stand for the whole weekend (September 1st/2nd). When I had a bit of a read back through this section a while ago there was a bloke who posted up pics of his Mk1 that he's just finished! It was in longtail configuration in Gulf oil colours. I'm sure a more regular contributor will be able to remember which thread it was. Might be worth an email to that chap.

Actually, he's already contacted me but is sadly unable to attend. Car looks fab though, and might be a future feature car in CKC when it's on the road.
