Checked your nuts lately?

Your wheel rim nuts are what I am talking about.

Whilst cleaning the wheels one of my washers moved, so I checked and found that most of the allen head bolts could be tightened by 1/8 turn but some by 1/2 a turn. This is after 1700 miles.

So for those with the Ultima wheels (or other split rims), check those nuts!!!!

That sounds very odd indeed. My wheels have been in use since 2004 and I have not seen that one! Aren't they fitted with nylocks - surely they shouldn't work loose(?)

I used a very thin smear of sealant (not adhesive) as well as the O ring so I suspect that has something to do with it.

Still worth a quick check though.
