As I do not use the Ultima Fuelsystem, I was wondering how the -6 hose is connected to the fuel rail.

As the "injector rail" has no thread, do you use a hose clip?

And maybe someone knows what thread is there at the return from the fuelrail to the catchtank or do you leave it unused as the pressure regulator sits before the fuel rail according to the manual?

Thanks a lot smile

There is a special fitting for the inlet port (bottom arrow on your pic) which is in effect a quick release with a O ring seal.

If you system has the regulator after the fuel rail then you fit a pipe from the second arrowed port to the regulator.

Sorry I can't give you part number for the fittings. I am sure someone will be along with that info soon.

Yes would be very nice if someone had the number smile

And maybe the type of threat of the left arrowed port smile

In terms of simplicity I guess it's better to have the regulator before the fuel rail and save a hose.

You need this fitting for the fuel rail.

The other fitting is a bleed or pressure test port. The rail is designed for the regulator to be before the rail.
On the Corvette I think you will find the regulator is within the filter and is positioned back near the fuel tank.

A beginner question:

How will the fitting "stuck" on the fuel rail as there is only a thread in the fitting but not on the rail?

The fitting has a smooth bore with an 'o' ring seal.
The fuel rail has a small swage (larger diameter lump) 10 or 15mm from the end. When the fitting has been pushed onto the rail the second part of the fitting ('C' shaped) slips over the fuel rail pipe and screws into the back of the fitting preventing the swage coming out.

Ben; The corvette uses a intank pump with fuel pressure regulation integrated. You need to consider where you will mount a regulator. My suggestion would be to use after market fuel rails with the regulator after the injectors and a return to the tank. Yes its easy to spend someone elses money but all the tunning in the world will not work unless you have rock stable fuel pressure. Besides the OEM RAILS ARE JUST PLAIN UGLY. lEE

Does anyone know if the Factory are still using Carter low pressure fuel pumps or something different?

Thanks
