It will be the standard M22 thread so any stat of that size will fit. Go to a motor factors and leaf through the catalogue until you find one with the terminals you want and the open/close temps you want to achieve. The existing stat will have the temps stamped on it.

Hi i gave up with mine, some times it worked ok and then other times it would come on at a lower temp and never go off untill the engine was turned off , and the fans could cool it to below 40ish degrees , so i went for a sender from merlin motorsport , its a probe that slides into the radiator gills , iv used them on loads of cars in the past and they always work a treat , at the moment im running one on my Ultima , my much modded sprite and my wifes E Type ,

The temp switch is available from CDS. They offer 2 different temps.......I went for the lower temp as the rad is quite a long way from the engine and I wanted to play it safe........have had no problem at all with it.....they normally deliver in 1 or 2 days.

seemingly Intermittent working can be caused by the sluggish flow of water through rad at idle allowing the temp which is read at the engine to go up to 110 ish before fans cut in.
