Hi Looking at arranging breakdown cover for the GTR (I know that I will never need it?) and would welcome any recommendations.

Cheers

I have had two relay lifts after punctures courtesy of my Lloyds platinum debit card.
I make the most of my bank card features, costs me £17 a month but that gives me travel insurance (winter sports included),
Mobile phone insured, multiple card loss insured and £300 interest free overdraft (LOL)
A few banks do this cover might pay to check it out.

I've been with the AA for over 30 years and am more than happy with the service.

Same here. Remember the AA cover the driver, not the car or bike, which is important to me, having more than one vehicle (6 in fact!)
