Got my GTR back today
The acceleration is mindblowing!! A lot more than I need. Scared myself to death already.
Took it down the motorway and I was doing ***mph before I realised it.
It goes and handles like a dream.
Am well pleased.
The only down side is the forecast for the weekend is not that good.

Give me a call sometime and we will meet up.
I should be about this weekend.
The engine I went for was a 535hp.
One thing I haven't got used to yet and thats fuel consumption, or lack of.
I'm told that it will get better as the engine wears in.
It drinks Optimax faster than i can drink beer!
The shape of the tanks and with factory gauges gives a misleading rate of use from full to half full.
I would imagine a stack would give a far more accurate reading.
Incidently what sort of range can you get from twin tanks? I think I will be lucky to make 150 miles just cruising!
Gary
On a 200mile cruise in my GTR which currently has a 500bhp AS engine it does 24mpg. I am careful how it is measured as I noticed that if I run one tank empty some will flow into the other tank so I wasn't getting a true reading. The way I calculate it is to fill up both tanks at the start of the journey and then fill up both again afterwards.

Hey, KZRD... Wow, that's excellent! Would you be so kind as to answer a couple of questions?...
Fuel injected?
What transaxle and gearing?
Thanks!
