New Year Day outing
Discussion
This is not about my sexuality. I drive a GTR!
Our local has a small classic car meet on NYD so as the weather was sunny I decided to take the Ultima. A ride into town for some Optimax confirmed that the roads were like a skating ring with the wide tyres and all that torque.
The car attracted the usual interest while parked at the pub. Young and old, male and female peering inside and taking photos (I keep out of the way).
I went for a run out afterwards and remembered I hadn't reset the tracking following my last session of camber adjustment (oops!). The run also highlighted an imbalance somewhere - not sure if it is tyres, wheels or driveshafts. Some investigation will hopefully reveal the cause.
The last time I took her out was the 5th November so it was good to get my fix.
Paul
BTW The car has been moved numerous time since November so I don't think it is a flat area on the tyres.

Happy new year to you.
The imbalance is more than likely a wheel balance weight. Can't imagine its a driveshaft related issue as the rotational inertia is tiny as the diameter and weight is insignificant compared to the tyres and wheels.
