Headlight performance
Discussion
Folks,
Just wondering about the standard headlight performance on the Ultima. Think I read somewhere that Ultima's 'Tripple Headlight' system uses xennons as standard.
Is this true, and which beams get xennon? Hopefully, this would be both main and dipped beams. How do people find the lights at night when driving briskly? My experience has been that you can never have too much light in a fast roadcar.
Hoping to get to the factory for a ride and a look round in the next couple of weeks. I'm pretty sure I'll be putting in my order - way past the edge of the slippery slope now ...
Thanks,
Dave

The standard Ultima headlights are not xenon discharge "just" high performance Hella halogen lights. On full beam you wont find many things brighter. On dipped the beam is very focused and lights up everywhere it should clearly but has good cut off so you don't dazzle the oncoming traffic.
Someone on here has fitted xenon discharge lamps to their car but they had to extend the front body work by a few inches to get the bigger units to fit.
