Hi David,

It was me you spoke to at the shell garage with the GTR. Good to meet you

The Canam belongs to Alan N.

Your TVR sounded a bit special when you pulled away!

Hi David!
Yep, that's me

You'll have to pop into the Old White Horse one evening for a beer and say hello...perhaps we could persuade Gary over too!

Alan.

Wotcha,

It would be interesting to meet up

two ultimas and a TVR ... sounds like a North Herts Pistonheads meet ... all be it until this week my TVR
seemed powerful ... could be a little underpowered now! (338 BHP ish)

Other cars of interest seen often along Whitehorse street ..

green purple flip paint Tuscan
Yellow Ferrari convertable (360?)
Red Ferrari (360?)

let me know when you around ... DAS

Hi,

I'm up for that!
Let me know when.

Unfortunatly my GTR is off the road at the mo!
I tried changing the clutch master cylinder to a .625" last night, but couldn't get the pedal travel needed, so had to put original back on. Managed to ruin the slave cylinder while bleeding the clutch (the piston popped out and leaked fluid after that so have ordered a new one).
Not the best evening's work I've had!

DONT TALK TO ME ABOUT OFF THE ROAD ....

My little monster had an oil leak ... pipe couldnt be supplied by TVR for unspecified time so had to fabricate new one that didnt foul on roll bar ...

something so simple caused so much agro ... hopefully all done now and back on the road after2 weeks off!

My clutch seemed real heavy ... but have got used to it now ... good luck with yours ...

I hadnt realised you guys had built the ultimas ... nice projects!

Give us an email when your back on the road ... DAS

It was a yellow Can-Am I've seen there on a couple of sunny afternoons, parked on the road out the front. I live just round the corner and I know what you mean about the drainage channels, I used to use them as ramps for my old RC car

That's me at the Plume...I play Squash in Ickleford...we're getting quite a meet going here
Reason I park out front is not to be flash but for the reasons you mention, no lower bodywork left if I attempt the car park

The yellow ferrereeeerrr passes through, doesn't live locally (well Hitchin I think).

The red one you refer to may belong to my mate's brother, I think it's a 348TS (convertable) although there is a red 355 soft top regularly parked up in Whitehorse Street too

More importantly have any of you seen the Speed Yellow Carerra GT that keeps popping from the lights, up Whitehorse Street and then down the High Street?
<DROOL>

So how many of you could make the OWH this Friday evening at say 1830-ish?

Alan.
