Well I was really after doing an 'Andy Canam' with a BMW V12 (new project!), but Richard and co talked me out of it being as it is not 'factory standard' etc..

and then there was 'that' Toureg V10 D which I really wanted to also do (in a quiet installation with an auto ).. but after trying to do a V12, a V10 diesel was un-approachable !

So a mate has offered me a nice fresh shelf V10 Judd with low miles, but I can't say much about that either

Also, as much as I take the piss out of the Hairdressers' Canam (Andy and Stig - here's your opener )

I quite like the idea of a 'summer car', as long as Andy hasn't filled the passenger's pod with so much crap that it causes the heating valve to be permanently 'wedged-on' during 85 degree blasts with the roof off ! (namely a rapid blast down to Hayling Island for a meet where we turned up totally soaked through because the heating was 'flat out' WITH the roof off ...but you had to be there!

Oh and I am suffering while deliberating because I have just quit smoking, and I am so 'wired' at the moment I am worried it will influence my decision

Clive has 2 projects. One is still in the 'thinking' stage but will be big, bold and supercar like.

The second is, I would guess, about half way by now and is a rather manic bike powered mini. I have seen a thread with all the pics but can't find it again.

must have been quite a sight seeing a canam going 50mph with both the doors being held open to try to get rid of the heat in the cackpit.

for those that don't yet know, the heaters are increadably effective. you certainly don't get cold in them in the winter.

I keep looking at F40 and Porsche 917 pictures, but my mind always goes back to my GTR..... Am not going to make mind up untill I have to, as the Mini will take at least until the end of next year to Finish...
