I plan on going but only if the weather is half decent.

I will wait until nearer the time to decide which day, but with Sunday as the prefered day.

Sorry for the lack of enthusiasm but the current weather is not condusive to driving the Ultima.

Yes it is their main (only?) show of the year.

I'll be there on Sunday.

Ah, those were the days. I remember 10 car convoys from the South/South East, especially to the Donington shows.

Well I'm coming up from Essex, M25/M1/M45 if anyone's interested, I guess we could meet just off the motorway?

I could come via the A428 and pick up the M1 from there.

Planning to go on sunday, will be travelling M2,M25,M1 so would love to join the convoy. Could meet just off the M25 somewhere dependant on where other people would be joining it.

I guess Toddington Services would be the first services after M25. What time, I try to arrive at Stoneleigh at around 10-10:30 (yet to do it!)

Hi Graham,

Toddington sounds good but would prefer to get to the service station at around 10.00 if thats any good, the wife has agreed to come so don,t want to push it as its been hard enough to get her in the car in the first place!

Cheers Karl.

Sounds like I may have to get up early then!!!

We can either meet at Toddington or Newport Pagnel.

Must get the car back together then!!!!

Karl,
That's the reason I haven't made it before 11.00 inthe past, wives can't see any reason for getting up early to drive somewhere to talk about cars, so yes I'm up for a later meet as it'll save some ear ache for me as well.

Paul
Would Newport Pagnel be better for you?
(I thought farmers were up at the crack of dawn!)

Graham
Newport Pagnel would be better, yes.

It would allow a few extra mins in bed!!!
As a semi-retired farmer who likes a large glass (or 3) of red wine in the evening, early mornings are not something I do unless I have to these days!!!
