Hello guys
Does anyone know what the track rod ends are off on a gtr 2011?
The track do you toe in, toe out or set to 00?
The braided pipe that goes from the g50 gearbox breather, is this an ultima or porsche part?
and which gear oil in a g50 box please.
thanks.

Hi Pete

Looks like you need a call the the Factory tomorrow. They will have all the answers for you.

Never tried to get rod ends from somewhere else as they are not expensive from the Ultima.
The breather pipe is Ultima.
If you built the car yourself the toe is in the CD and if someone else built it get the CD from them as there is a lot of info in there for future use.
The transmission oil will depend on the model of G50 but Richard will be able to help.

Probably not the answers you want but starting a relationship with the Factory (if you haven't already) will be very worthwhile.

hi paul
yes i ordered the bits i needed from the factory today,
the track was toe in 1mm per side, which means setting with string rather than tracking equipments.
the gear oil is semi synthetic 75-90.
no i did not build the car, it is well built, but is just in-need of some detailing, small things like, one track rod end has a small nick in the rubber, (careless work) i will replace the 2 so they match, gearbox breather pipe had a drip, so i will change the oil at the same time rather than just top up, wheels need a good polish, lots of easy jobs that can make all the difference.

Hi Pete

Glad you got the info you needed. They are a very helpful bunch at the Factory and I would encourage every new owner to give them a call and build a relationship. They know the history of most, if not all Ultima's and there may be worthwhile upgrades available especially if you have an issue.

Most owners find little things they want to address and this forum is a good sounding board for ideas or problems. Never be afraid to ask.

I strongly recommend you paint the track rod ends before you fit them. They will gain surface rust within a week of being fitted. A tough paint like smoothrite is more than adequate.
