headlinings and water don't mix

Some, including myself have added headlining to our GTR - and same top of the doors.

The effect is very nice, but it also seems to present some.. errr extra challenges!

In particular... I have discovered that the door rubber does not totally seal. You only find out when you slosh a bucket of water over the car cab!

...and it will result in the water creeping around the front top quarter of the car door, wetting your nice headlining, and leaving a puddle on the side-pod top surface.

Is there a way to adjust said seal-to-door, or (as I suspect) a different profile rubber might be necessary?

Hi had or got same problem no windows yet so cant check but think ive done it had all my gtr trmmed in leather. Had to buy new seal e-bay if you send me your e-mail i can send some pics..

I have just ordered a 'try' kit from fleabay with lost of different samples, so we shall see!
