trans oil revisited
Discussion
I read some of the old post but wanted to get some more advise. I am about to fill my trans
PHII built
G50/50 with LSD
Steel synchros
Hp approx 600-700 fwhp
Redline says to use 75w90ns Said I may experience some LSD chatter at low speed tight turns, but still recommends it.
A local Porsche shop says they only use red line 75w90 in all their race cars. Specifically said not to us NS because my box is a LSD.
PHII recommended red line 80W140 or shockproof.
Going through the old post, some people say not to use fully syn.
Any thoughts?

Unless you have a oil pump that can spray oil direct at the Crown wheel and Pinion contact point, then using thin type oil will wear them out. Using the older type thicker oil Semi-Syn that the factory recomends lubricates it better when inverted... Is that what your after.
PH2 can sell you an Expensive oil pump system if you want ... Depends how much you want to spend..
