Hi all. A quick question. My luggage containers are protruding about 5mm from the outermost chassis bar, mainly due to the fact that I have fitted the chassis panels on the 'wrong' side, so the chassis tubing is exposed in the interior of the car, and also lined those panels with a combined sound deadening and heat shielding material.

See below:

I am worried that the side pods might not fit now, as a result - from pictures it looks as if there might be space between the side pod and the luggage container in its usual position, but its not clear.

I'd very much appreciate your thoughts.

Enjoy the Bank Hol!

You will be fine. There's a good gap between the outer skin of the luggage containers and the bodywork side pods smile

Before you fit the side pods glue a couple of lengths of cable trunking

To the underside of the bins.
Later when you say 'bugger' I need to run a couple of wires to the back of the car you will have somewhere to put them.
