ls1 with getrag trans - any problems

I'm planning on buying a GTR and I want to go with an ls1 corvette motor. Can a getrag 6 speed bolt up to the ls1 without issues? I've heard that there is starter clearance problems, but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance.

nevermind. craig from brammo said a gt3 transaxle is perfect for the ls1/ls6 thanks anyway.
